Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon Dr Brendan Lacey is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Mater Hospital in Belfast where he has worked for 20 years. He graduated from Queen’s University Belfast and trained in Ophthalmology at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. His main areas of interest are Cataract surgery and Oculoplastic surgery. He undertook his specialist training in Vancouver, Canada. He is the Clinical Lead for the Integrated Care Pathway in Ophthalmology service in Belfast based at Beech Hall (Health and Social Well Being Centre) where he manages a Multi-Disciplinary Team providing a primary care facing General Ophthalmology service. Mr Lacey has Private Practice privileges at Kingsbridge Private Hospital, Belfast.
