Dr. Petya Markova, based in Plovdiv, is a pediatrician and pediatric nephrologist with an experience of over 10 years. Dr. Markova performs prophylactic examinations of the excretory system, diagnostics, tracking and treatment of congenital excretory system disorders in children, nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting), excretory system infections, cystitis, pyelonephritis, etc. Dr. Markova graduated from Medical University - Plovdiv in 2006, earning her specialty degree in Pediatrics and Pediatric nephrology from Medical University - Sofia in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Additional qualifications - Training in abdominal sonography in pediatric patients - Lecturer at the Emergency Pediatrics Conference - Participation in national and international congresses in her field - Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, Bulgarian Pediatric Association, European Society for Pediatric Nephrology and International Pediatric Nephrology Association Since 2006, Dr. Markova has been working at St George University Specialised Hospital - Plovdiv, consequently at the emergency department of the hospital’s pediatric clinic, the pediatric and genetic diseases clinic, as well as the pediatric gastroenterology and nephrology department. Since 2012, she has also been working at the Plovdivmed Pediatric Polyclinic.
