Dr. Ivan Glavchev is an obstetrician and gynecologist with an experience of over 25 years. He performs diagnostic procedures using a state-of-the-art ultrasound and colposcopy devices, specialised consultations and treatment in the field of obstetrics, gynecology and prenatal diagnostics, cervical and breast cancer prevention, pregnancy tracking and consultations. Dr. Glavchev’s practice is equipped with the latest devices - GE F8 ultrasound machine, video colposcope, electrocoagulation device, microscope, maternal/fetal monitor - for precise fetal and maternal tracking in high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Glavchev graduated from Medical University - Plovdiv in 1991, earning his specialty degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1998. He holds a Master degree in Health Management. Additional qualifications: - 1996 - Ultrasound diagnostics course; - 2001 - Colposcopy and Electrocoagulation course; - 2010 - Course in painless delivery, endocrinology in obstetrics and gynecology; - 2013, 2017 - Laparoscopy 1st and 2nd level; - 2016 - Breast and peripheral tissue ultrasound diagnostics, including elastography; - Member of Bulgarian Medical Association; - Participation in a number of national and international congresses and seminars in his field (Greece, Turkey, Italy) After graduating medicine in 1991, Dr. Glavchev started working in Medical Centre 1, in Hisarya, near Plovdiv. He started specializing and practicing obstetrics and gynecology in 1991 at the OBGN clinic at 1st City Hospital, in 1998 at Vesela Maternity hospital - Plovidv, in 2012 at Selena OBGN Hospital - Plovdiv and since 2014 until now, in Torax Hospital - Plovdiv. Since 2016, Dr. Glavchev also has a private OBGN practice in Plovdiv.
