Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will have three main responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and identifying new leads in Healee key markets in North America and Western Europe, including, but not limited to, the USA, Canada and the UK;
  2. Setting appointments for the sales team that lead to a qualified pipeline; and
  3. Maintaining clean records in the CRM system with proper statuses and lead categorization.

As a member of the sales and business development team, you will have the opportunity to create processes, execute and build high-quality pipeline and thus grow your sales career at a successful digital health technology company with the possibility to transition into more senior sales roles based on your performance. You will be working closely with the Head of Sales - English Markets to find and qualify new business leads.


  • In the first 30 days, you will learn about the company and product differentiation, and help the team pull together target lists and prepare an outbound process
  • In the first 60 days, you will be able to demo the product and start building B2B pipeline with both existing and new relationships
  • In the first 90 days, you will have a complete mastery of product and pipeline, and will be able to generate 15 new quality leads a month and drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation
  • Make a high volume sales calls on a daily basis to generate interest and leads for Healee
  • Be persistent - consistently follow up with potential clients to maximize meetings and exposure
  • Understand ideal customer profile, needs, and requirements through research and industry knowledge
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in accounts
  • Create and manage outbound campaigns to customers and prospects to gather information and initiate the first step in identifying those interested parties in learning more about the company’s products and services
  • Configure new campaigns leveraging a rules-based marketing automation tool
  • Daily interaction with and update of the CRM to track accounts, leads, contacts, and opportunities according to sales department best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales and business development managers for nurture and closure
  • Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports
  • Complete quarterly professional improvement training and attend conferences as needed
  • Lead sales efforts with small to midsize businesses to help close business and prepare team internally for implementation

Who You Are

  • Minimum 2+ years of B2B lead generation experience using the phone, email, and social media platforms
  • Technical affinity and quick comprehension combined with the ability to communicate complex issues understandably
  • Prior experience in SaaS sales, healthcare sales, or tech startup is preferred
  • Comfortable with getting “no” and “rejections” but have the ability to work around those objections and keep going
  • Passion for finding and identifying those who “want to learn more” and the strong ability to engage and persuade
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written (email) communication skills
  • Google Suite and CRM proficient, experience with Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce or similar is a plus
  • Results-driven, self-starter, persistent, highly motivated to increase earnings despite rejection
  • Highly autonomous and organized with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced organization with remote oversight
  • Naturally curious, passionate and with a strong desire to learn
  • Honesty and integrity are a must
